About Us

Brewed With Purpose—the Story Behind Our British Tea Company
At The House of Tea, we believe great tea is a tradition worth reviving. As a family-owned tea brand, we bring together ethically sourced leaves, artisan bone china, and a deep love for quality. Our mission is to share the richness of British tea culture with modern convenience—UK-wide. From single-estate farms to your finest china, our products honour heritage while supporting sustainable practices. Proudly partnered with Best of British Brand, we champion craftsmanship with every blend and teapot. If you’ve ever wondered what tea should taste like—this is your invitation.
Our Mission

“To revive the art of tea with ethically sourced leaves and heirloom-quality wares.”

Our Story
Our founder, Andrew Kay, spent years exploring the world’s tea-growing regions—from misty Darjeeling hills to verdant gardens in Sri Lanka—selecting only the most flavourful, sustainable harvests. Back home in Britain, we paired those blends with classic English bone china, inspired by the timeless elegance of afternoon tea.
Every blend we offer is the result of slow sourcing, careful tasting, and a lifelong love of the leaf.
